Balance

Two ideals seen in natural life are balance and harmony.

We have yin and yang, left and right, up and down, peanut butter and jelly, so on and so forth. Our natural order is balance. When things are left alone they will generally trend toward balance or homeostasis. However, there will be times in life when our balance is knocked off. It is ok to need help getting back to alignment.

One tool I utilize is an awesome acupuncturist. Modern acupuncture was established during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Its premise is that our body is comprised of energy points. Small thin needles are placed in these certain energy points to help restore energy balance – therefore correcting the unbalanced energy.

I recently got some treatment for both physical and mental discomfort/pain. The results are awesome! In addition to the needling treatment, the acupuncturist also utilized cupping and tea. After two treatments, my physical pain has decreased and it reduced some of my pent up energy and anxiety.

This treatment is not a magic cure, but it is a powerful step towards a solution. Acupuncture and Chiropractic care are synergistic healing modalities that provide amazing results when coupled correctly. If you are looking for another way to balance your energy I recommend going to a great acupuncturist.

Balance and life go together like the Chicago bears and awful quarterbacks (I write this as a Bears fan during the NFL draft). Our nature is to stay in balance, nevertheless there are times when events push us off kilter. Acupuncture is a great tool to help you get back into balance.
